The foundation receives 50% of net profit from MySLI app transactions and separates funds into visible, purpose-specific buckets before grants are awarded.
Quarterly family grants
65% of the Foundation allocation funds quarterly family grants. The tier is set by fund size, starting at $250 and growing to $500 or $1,000 as the treasury can support more help.
Learning opportunities
A 10% allocation supports Deaf and interpreter education, training, and access paths.
Access credits
A 25% allocation expands access: 15% funds free minutes for Deaf users, 5% supports interpreter rewards, and 5% funds live interpreted broadcasts for important events.
